Let's fully understand SAM-e ( S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine )

SAM-e is a naturally occurring molecule that is distributed throughout virtually all body tissue and fluids. It plays an essential role in many biochemical reactions involving enzymatic transmethylation. SAM-e is produced in the body from Methionine and Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). SAM-e Synthesis is closely linked to vitamins B-12 and Folate metabolism. Deficiencies of these vitamins can result in decreased SAM-e concentrations in the central nervous system. Healthy bodies, given proper nutrition, naturally make just the right kind of SAM-e and in the right amounts. Low levels of SAM-e in one's body can lead to all kinds of health problems.

• SAM-e pills can cause flatulence, vomiting, diarrhea, headache and nausea. Anxiety has occurred in people with depression and hypomania in people with bipolar disorder.


• SAM-e pills do not come cheap. Typically, they are sold with heavy advertising dollars for 40 cents to $1.00 each. You are led to believe that 2 pills a day will cure all your problems. Let's do the math on this -- - 400 MG times 1% equals 4 MG bioavailability. Has the light turned on yet?

Now, here's the better alternative -
